Then, in the final frame, Sean Ryan scored to tie the game 2-2, and Travis McBride launched a three-run walk off home run to end the game.

House Selected in 2nd Round of MLB Draft
June 6th, 2008
It was all smiles and sighs of relief at the House home when the Oakland A's announced their 6th round draft pick - former Palmdale Falcon Tryeace House (Collage Of The Canyons). House was the 184 pick overall. Surrounded by family and friends, House's first order of business was to call his younger brother Davon, who is still at New Mexico State where he is the starting cornerback.
Other locals selcted were:
Malcolm Culver, RHP (Palmdale) 8th round, Kansas City, Calvin Culver, OF (Quartz Hill, Pierce College) 26th round, Atlanta, and Michael Tonkin, RHP (Palmdale) 30th round, Minnesota.
"It's been a long wait" said Shelly House, Tyreace's mother, "This means so much to all of us". House's younger sister Vanessa, who has made a name for herself in girls softball predicted, that her brother would go in the 6th round. "What did I tell you!" she said proudly.
