Boys All Star Game
A game-tying goal and a winning assist earned Rolondo Palma of Knight High the MVP award as the South rallied for a 3-2 win over the North.
Rosamond's Edgar Lomelli gave the North an early 1-0 lead, with an assist going to Zane Bryant of Quartz Hill. Palmdale's Tyler Coombes got the South even in the opening minutes of the 2nd half, but the Rebels Facundo Gomez put the South back ahead 2-1. After Lomelli tied it up, Highland's David Salguero got the game winner on Lomelli's assist.
Keeper Brett Lloyd earned the MVP award for the North.
Summer Futsal: Week 3 Results
July 1st, 2008
Recaps from week 3 boys games of Summer Futsal at Palmdale High School:
- Palmdale Black had a convincing win over Quartz Hill 2 winning 14-2.
- Palmdale Green came back to pull out a win over a tough Quartz Hill 1 winning 9-8.
- Knight also came back from a 4 goal deficit to get the win against Palmdale Gold 10-6.
- Rosamond made a great comeback effort late in the second half but came up short against Paraclete who held on to their early lead. Paraclete won with a score of 7-6.
- Antelope Valley picked up a forfeit win against Desert Christian.

Falcons Plan KICK FOR A CURE Futsal Tournament
July 21st, 2008
Soccer teams from across the valley will join the fight against cancer at the KICK FOR A CURE Futsal Tournament on August 1st at the Palmdale High School gym.
All money raised will be donated to the Relay For Life of Palmdale.
The tournament is not just about soccer, however. "Anyone in the Antelope Valley can come out and have a great time," said organizer Jarrod Cline, who doubles as the Palmdale High boys soccer coach. "There will be lots going on. Along with the futsal, we'll have music, games, raffles, and other things going on."
Attendees will also be provided with information on the Relay for Life of Palmdale, scheduled for September.

The Palmdale boys proudly wear pink at their July 21st futsal match to heighten awareness of breast cancer. They will also participate in the Kick for a Cure tournament on August 1st. The Falcons beat Rosamond 8-4.
